Watford FC

Watford Football Club has a history of relegations and promotions, but they’ve always put their blood, sweat and tears into every match. And their fans have cheered and fought alongside them. They came to us looking for a web platform that was worthy of the team and in service of their loyal fans.

We developed bold, honest and deliberately unpolished design language that was true to the ethos of the club. We put news and fixtures front and centre, and created a live, mobile-first takeover of the home page on matchdays. Player and team pages prioritised what the fans care about most — the latest news on their favourite striker, seasonal stats about their performance, and players’ social updates.

 

Watford came to us looking for a web platform that was worthy of its loyal fanbase. We developed a bold, unpolished design language that reflected the true ethos of the club and applied it to a web experience that put the things that fans care about front and centre. This meant news and fixtures on the homepage and player pages that prioritised performance stats and player social updates. Finally, we created a mobile match day experience that let fans keep up with every update from Vicarage Road.
